Labor Day

Why do you go to work every day?

Good morning. This is Dr. Joe Cincotta. Today is Labor Day. Thanks to those who go to work every day and who make the effort to improve our community, to provide for your families and to set a good example to our children. We need to understand that each worker has a special and vital role to the overall functioning of the community and that without the work of each member, the community is less vibrant. The pride each person brings to his or her work is essential to the success and satisfaction of the work day. No job is perfect and not every day goes smoothly. But how we support each other and treat each other during the day can have an important positive impact on the experiences of the day. Through our work, most of us encounter other people during the course of the day. Each of those meetings provides an opportunity to make our lives and the lives of other people we meet better. Let's not miss those opportunities. Thank you.
