Resolutions
Little things do make a difference.
Good Morning this is Doctor Joe Cincotta. As we enter the New Year many of us commit to a variety of resolutions and some of these often involve improving our health. We start the year with ambitions about doing better. This is great and I hope that each of us can succeed with the health goals that we have set for ourselves. I also want us to take a moment to consider the good things that we have done in the past for our health. In this season of making new resolutions we can sometimes focus too much on what we need to do and miss an opportunity to congratulate ourselves and those we care about for making progress and improving our health. Focusing on those positive areas is an important part of permanent change. Do not take these good things for granted. Mention them to those you care about and let them know that these changes are important to them and to you. Let them know that you notice their efforts. And tell yourself too when you are making a positive effort to improve your health. It does make a difference.
