Medicine and Teamwork
Good morning. This is Dr. Joe Cincotta. Contrary to what is depicted on some television shows the practice of medicine and the successes we realize in medicine are the result of a team effort. I cannot think of another example where successful outcomes are so dependent on the timely and correct actions of so many participants. And each professional participant is focused on you – the individual patient. Each professional has a key role on the overall success and satisfaction of the services provided. Health care is a broad area that touches each of our lives – many times when we do not feel at our best. The various professionals who help in our care deserve our recognition and appreciation. So to each member of the team who works hard everyday to deliver the best patient experience – thank you for the work you do daily for every patient and in every setting where medical care is provided. Our community is better for the work you do. Thank you.
